The Building Matura Award gives us exactly this opportunity!

The bilding foundation promotes young engineering talent in the construction industry throughout Switzerland, particularly women, and works to positively shape the image of engineering professions. Every year, it presents the Building Matura Award to outstanding Matura theses in civil engineering in order to inspire young people in cantonal schools to pursue a career in engineering and to show them the fascinating prospects this profession has to offer. The Swiss Football League is responsible for implementing the Building Matura Award.

The most important information about the Building Matura Award

 

• Target group: High school graduates with a Matura paper in the field of engineering.

• Judging: The submitted Matura papers are evaluated and awarded by a jury of experts from the supporting associations of the bilding foundation according to scientific quality, originality, practical relevance and methodological innovation.

• Prizes: The winner receives the renowned Building Matura Award and a travel voucher worth CHF 500. All nominees receive a certificate.

• Application process: You can find all the information on the Building Matura Award website.

• Deadline for entries: March 31, 2025 for Matura theses in 2025.
